ABOUT DIANE GAUDON, FCPA

She believes “the best way to reduce exposures and maximize tax recoveries is to learn the rules”.
Diane Gaudon, FCPA and owner of her own business specializes in GST/HST, QST and provincial sales tax training and consultation services.
She is an extremely popular and frequent presenter of commodity tax related material to numerous firms, businesses and professional organizations. Currently, she writes and presents numerous GST/HST courses for CPA Ontario.
Additionally, she has 20 plus years of providing sales tax advice to both Canadian and foreign companies and accounting firms of all sizes on federal and provincial sales tax matters. She was also on the Ontario provincial government HST implementation committee.
Diane has 38 years of experience as a professional accountant with extensive accounting and taxation expertise in many industries.
She is the author of the 2011 release of CGA Ontario’s Harmonized Sales Tax Part II booklet and the CPA Canada Online course “GST/HST from 2010 to 2016.
For her contributions to CGA and industry at large in communicating Ontario and British Columbia HST implementation and sales tax information, Diane was honoured with a Fellowship Award from CGA Canada in 2011. In 2012, she was bestowed the Ontario Distinguished Service Award from CGA Ontario.
